On Friday, we continued with weeding and preparing the Downy Birch bed for the smallest saplings to be replanted and let them grow on for another year. We also freed up some additional space by shifting some of the Horse Chestnuts together at the end of the bed as the successful ones were fairly spread out due to failures with birds and badgers having reduced the numbers down quite a lot from what we planted last Spring. We're very grateful for the amazing volunteers who came and helped this week with Adam volunteering for the first time, Caroline and Chris volunteering from Friendly Soap and of course our regular volunteer Govi 😊 It was lovely meeting you all and we hope to see you again soon 💚We're here every Friday between 11 and 4 if you want to come along and help out for a few hours 👇 You can get involved by clicking the link below or texting 07510 355 168www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/forus-friday-community-tree-nursery-gathering-tickets-763383128487?aff=ere... ...
